Candidate Sourcing
Experience using an array of recruiting tools to network, source, screen, and qualify candidates for a variety of positions, including the demonstrated ability to analyze data and identifiable factors to resolve a diverse range of complex talent acquisition sourcing issues in a timely manner.
Requisition Management
Experience managing multiple recruiting requisitions simultaneously with limited direction, including using good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for the accurate and timely dispositioning of candidates.
Management Consultation
Experience consulting with hiring managers and senior internal and external personnel in areas related to talent acquisition, including assisting with job posting/ad development, recruiting strategies, and hiring best practices.
Diversity and Inclusion
Full understanding of diversity and inclusion strategies as they relate to talent acquisition, including the demonstrated ability to place diverse candidates across a variety of disciplines.
Education Requirement for Recruiter 1: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the job.
Education Requirement for Recruiter 2: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the job.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience recruiting for science, engineering, technology, environmental, safety, health, quality, security, and/or capital/construction projects positions is strongly preferred, and candidates with this experience will be given priority consideration.
Location: This position will be located in Los Alamos, NM with the potential for teleworking from a location within 2 hours ground commute of this location. Reporting onsite will be periodically required. Telework is at the discretion of management and can change at any time with appropriate notice.

Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). This position requires a Q clearance which requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon position, additional authorization to access nuclear weapons information may be required that may or may not be available to dual citizens depending upon the circumstances.
*Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.
New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Regular position: Term status Laboratory employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to regular status.
