Project work involves the application of entangled photon sources (e.g. from SPDC) towards imaging applications and microscopy to study biological processes in plants and single cells. The work encompasses experimental studies in optics, biological and nanomaterial sample preparation, instrument design, component integration, and data analysis. The successful candidate will advance the fields of quantum ghost imaging and quantum-enabled bioimaging.
