The Finance Post Bachelors Internship Program is designed for the student pursuing their undergraduate degree in the Business Field. Students will be placed in various positions in the Finance Organization. The Finance Division delivers financial products and services in support of the Laboratory’s mission. Our Financial management focus includes the following: · Perform work in the Finance and Administrative Fields. · Integrating processes and systems across the Finance Division. · Providing quality business processes and systems throughout the Laboratory. · Partnering with the programs and technical divisions to strengthen our business capabilities. · Providing stewardship of Laboratory, NNSA and sponsor resources. · Building alliances with NNSA, DOE, LASO, and the ABQ Service Center. · Maintain a safe and secure working environment. · Work as a team member with direction from your mentor. | | | | | | What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: · Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent. · Must have received a bachelor’s degree within the last three years. · Must not be accepted and enrolled in a graduate program (recently enrolled graduate students should explore employment opportunities within the Laboratory’s Graduate Internship Program). · Pass a new employment drug test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new employment drug test and maintain a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. · Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance which typically requires US citizenship. Post-baccalaureate interns may remain in this category for up to two years · Interns should use this appointment to prepare for graduate school acceptance (e.g., GRE/GMAT exams, applications, etc.). An intern may move into GRA status when documentation is provided indicating the intern's intention to accept an offer of admission to a graduate program. Education Required: · Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy or related discipline within the past three years.
