This Professional will be operating in a customer-focused environment with four teams supporting Engineering, Enterprise, Operations, and Cybersecurity. These teams come together to support our intelligence community mission needs. The Operations Team is where the Computing Systems Professional will provide high-level system administration responsibilities that include: Technical leadership in design and support of storage area networks (SAN), and storage appliances Service to customers by providing superior communication and teaming skills Answering users’ technical questions and taking corrective action when necessary Working effectively in a team environment, providing leadership, task prioritization, assisting and mentoring fellow team members, and participating in continuous process improvement efforts Interacting with customers and peers in a professional and responsive manner, including mentoring, coaching, or giving presentations
| | | | | | What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: Technical Expertise Knowledgeable on software development methodologies, tools, and processes, including software development lifecycle, programming languages, and VTC component integration. Demonstrated experience with Web-based tools and utilities, server build. Ability to review and understand end-to-end work processes.
Hardware/Storage Management Familiar with hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, and client server principles. Background knowledge of hardware and software integration and testing.
Training/Certifications: Advanced vendor certification (RHCSA, RHCE, Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), VMware, NetApp) preferred. Education/Experience: Position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desired Qualifications: Active DOE Q/TS SCI clearance, transferable clearance. Experience administering Windows, UNIX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and desktops. Knowledge of project management principles to set project scope, schedule, priorities, and deliverables
